Who We Are
Rick Brantley
(producer/engineer, guitarist)
Desiring to draw out the artist’s own vision for their work, Rick brings to the production table over 25 years experience in interpersonal relationships, as well as over 30 years experience as a performing musician. He seeks to pique musical interest by using non-traditional instruments and sounds, as well as creative arrangements in the material he produces.
Production credits include Rock, Punk, Pop, Hip-Hop, and Bluegrass.
As an engineer with over 20 years of real-world experience, and credits ranging from Classical to Punk, Rock to Hip Hop, Jazz to Screamo, he seeks to track GREAT sounds, rather than just “good” ones.
When not engineering, producing, or writing, Rick performs as a backing guitarist/vocalist with various regional bands.
Current Intern
Playing various instruments, as well as performing vocally, Andy Spencer has been passionate about music his whole life. Early on he became intrigued with recording technologies and techniques. This culminated in his graduating from Cincinnati State with a degree in Audio and Video production in the summer of 2008.
Andy brings dedication and passion to every project he encounters. He also possesses that rare blend of easy-going attitude combined with extreme attention to detail that is crucial in audio engineering. Though currently a “jack of all trades”, tackling video/post-production, as well as film & commercial work, Andy’s primary focus is the art of recording music. Since graduating he has gained a wide range of experience, being involved in almost every part of the recording industry. From foley and voice over work for film, to recording and mixing music, Andy takes every opportunity to expand his knowledge of sound engineering.
